How Do I Waive the Student Health Insurance Plan?
To 'waive' the student health insurance plan, the student must submit a waiver application to the school and certify that he or she has alternative coverage, the name of the entity offering the plan, the policy number or member identification number, the name of the subscriber or primary enrollee and the relationship of that person to the student, and a statement that the coverage is comparable to the coverage required under a QSHIP plan. You can obtain a waiver form from the Bursar's Office, or you can access the waiver online through the WISER system.

Deadlines for submitting waivers to the Bursar's Office for the 07/08 Academic Year are:

October 15, 2007 for the Fall semester

March 1, 2008 for the Spring semester.
